Hi Page Parents! My grown up name is Allison Geary, though many at school know me as Bee. I am thrilled to be among the many amazing parents, teachers and friends who make up the WNPTO. My vibrant family of five is happy to call this cozy, quaint town of West Newbury home. My husband Matthew Shwom and I have three children at Page; Sophia in 5th, Rocco in 3rd, and Rosie in 1st.
I can frequently be found singing my way through normal conversations or freestyle rapping in the "bee-hive" aka my minivan. An avid baker, loved ones will tell you I live and die by my kitchen aid mixer. I'm confident gardening enriches the soul. I am a diehard Boston Celtics fan. My professional background is in hospitality and organizational development. I have made a shift away from this and been focused on issues of social justice and progress within our local and greater community. With this, I have rekindled a love of writing and am currently working on a four book children's series.
I am excited to connect with all new and returning members and help find a space for everyone to collaborate among our PTO. I hope to see you at our meetings!
